A brief history

Arbor Creek Saskatoon is a primarily residential neighborhood situated in northeast Saskatoon. It is a Saskatoon neighborhood composed mainly of low-density, detached homes. The location is home to 5,054 residents. The neighborhood is considered a high-income location, with an average family earnings of $166,111, a typical dwelling worth of $448,547.00 and also a home ownership rate of 95.2%.

The area which Arbor Creek now encompasses was annexed between 1980 and 1984. Most of the home construction was done between 1996 and 2006, with a small amount of construction prior to this (the area initially appeared on city maps in the late 1980s, branded as component of the neighboring Erindale community prior to being split off in the very early 1990s).

The housing stock is composed mainly of low density, single separated houses. Roadways feature the names of prominent local individuals, most of them artists, as well as numerous former mayors.

Arbor Creek exists within the federal electoral area of Saskatoon-Humboldt. It is presently represented by Brad Trost of the Conservative Party of Canada.  First elected in June 2004, Brad Trost is the Member of Parliament for Saskatoon-Humboldt, a constituency both urban and rural, in east central Saskatchewan that has the University of Saskatchewan at its heart.

Provincially, the area is within the constituency of Saskatoon Silver Springs.
